Well, I know this story used to say Malice decided to be Peeping-Dick however he got kicked from the OTD server and even though he COULD have changed it to D!ck, he really wanted to be the Thing-2 to Arty's Thing-1 (They're a couple) so I talked to the original Thing-Two and Dolkin has decided to go back to being just Dolkin since he is unavailable for the most part anyway and gave up the name for Malice.  Welcome aboard, Thing!!

I hope everyone had a safe and happy new year and I would like to wish everyone the best for 2008! Hopefully this will be a fun year filled with lots of good times with friends. :)

Horace has been busy lately configuring the server and has added some mods and also got the HLStatsX working. Right now the overtime is set to go to 3 minutes of melee weapons with a random class. Sorry gang, the HLStats don't appear to be working. We'll get that fixed up ASAP.  Thanks to everyone who came to play on the server tonight. Hopefully it worked well for everyone!

Sorry the site is so slow:  My hosting account pretty much blows. I have a new host and will be migrating sites over in the next month or two. Please bear with my current slow host until I can get things moved. :)

We actually got together and managed to get people on our new server last night for the first time! We had to make some small changes and we still don't have the HLStatsX working correctly but we're getting there. Horace is the server master and is getting things all configured for us. We now have the team auto balancing working and fast map downloading working as well.

Last night also marked the return of Zizzer-Zazzer-Zuzz to the lineup! Welcome back Zizz! Now you must get Waldo to come and play!  We are still looking for bodies for the TF2 squad. If you are interested or know someone who is, get in touch with me (The_Lorax).

Bane has decided to be one of the many Fuddnudler brothers! Welcome aboard man! We had a fun night last night. Horace, Yuzz, Sp0t, Vipper, Thing One, Thing Two and I played for most of the night and had some really good runs. It's fun playing when you have people working together as a team. :) Now let's keep this rolling and see if we can find another couple of people to fill out spots.

We're making progress!  Everyone welcome Bane to the group when you see him (or you can tell him on his Vent server)   He hasn't finalized his name selection yet but we're working on that.  Welcome aboard Bane! :)  I've also talked to some of the other GEC guys such as Rolf & Mr. Brown so we'll see if any more people sign up.

Hey guys, I found a cool photo album called JAlbum and created a pics page that GEC members have access to where you can see the different old GEC member logos. If you want yours, sign up and let me know and I'll get added to the group so you can see the private forums and the pics page. (Just FYI, there is a apparently some sort of a bug with the photo album and you can't right click and 'Save As' on the images if you use FireFox so you'll have to worship the Evil Empire© if you want to save the pic)

Well, I finally got busy and managed to get the site back up and running. :D Now I just need to get some of you guys to sign back up and start participating!
